I broke a 1/2 in and a 3/8 craftsman wrenches last week. They swapped me out with no questions and I was back in the car in no time.
Only thing I dont like about craftsman is their tq wrench is considered a power tool so it only a limited warranty and they have no way to calibrate it either. And I was told if you work as a mech and go in there with your work uniform on, they will not warranty their stuff either.

i have the 200 dollar craftsmen box at sears, And then the craftsmen pack of metric box wrenches. But i would recommend the SnapOn box wrenches for their great leverage. And then i have all the specialty items like 24mm, 36mm sockets, cam gear alignment tool, slide hammer with bolt welded on the end, pry bars, BREAKER BAR, allen sockets, all that u need to work on your evo (I'm the only one that touches my car)

The best kit is the Sears combo set for between 200-300 dollars. That's what I started with.
13 years later, I've spent over 30,000 dollars on tools.
It's a downhill battle
