As in Best Resale for a 4 door sedan on 2005? Don't know how the 9's are doing, but com'on guys ..... Resale value is NOT one of your problems unless you do something to the car that depreciates it .... which is true of almost ANY commodity.

If someone bought a car "Upside Down" , that's a problem with your negotiating skills, not the Evo.

I haven't reasearched it, but I'd lay a blind bet that the Evo has the best resale value of any current model that Mitsy makes (1 & 2 G's may have rivaled it in their "hay-day"... I don't know) I'd pay premium bucks for a Creampuff 05 in the right color, if I could trade in my 03.

It's ok to 2nd guess yourself, but in the end, there are some people who aren't right for the Evo.

Me?..... I waited way too many years to get in on something like the Evo. I feel like I lucked out being in the right position financialy to pick one up, when I did. I wish I could do it all over again .... knowing what I know now .... I do things a little differently as to the color and mods .... But I'd deffinitely do it.

I guess we should watch the pilot forums in a few months. I'm sure he'll be asking about some easy to solve problem that was his fault due to his poorly thought out and expensive mods, that is "forcing" him into trading up into an H1 or Escalade.

j/k good luck with the ride

Uh Huh ....... Guess who made out on that deal. We all know car dealers are just there to make friends, ........ lot's and lots of friends

It's just nature thinning out the herd.

I still can't quite understnad why he'd buy a crappy and slow Pilot when he could have gotten an RDX for about the same money. At least that has some enthusiast appeal.

wow wow wow...our resale values

like you guys needed another reason to feel good about owning an evo, but here is a little story to give you guys something to feel good about...

i recently totaled my evo, an 04 SSL with 48000 miles on it. my insurance just called me and told me my car is worth 23,225! i bought it over 2 years ago for 29,500. in 2 years, it has only depreciated a little over $6000.

paying off the lien, i'm going to have a little over $8000 to spend on a IX....

Take it when you can. 99% of the time we get the short end of the stick with the insurance companies.
