Grab it gingerly under the knob, right where the leather meets knob and thrust.

You drive an MR right? Grab the reverse collar and shift with that. Its what I do on really hot days. On cold days I just man up.

I use an AMS knob as well. Sometimes you can find em used on here.

Step 1: Take off your right shoe.
Step 2: Take off your right sock.
Step 3: Place right sock over shift knob.
Step 4: Enjoy your new sock shift knob that has been preheated by your feet.

....haha, ok, in all seriousness, ive had friends that wrap them in yarn or rubber bands for the season, looks kinda cool if done correctly.

pull your sleeve over your hand a little bit, its only cold for a few minutes its no big deal. in the summer i feel your pain though (but opposite bc its too hot)

I have the cobb shift knob. I love it, never gets hot or cold and has good weight.

Its my first winter with the metallic knob and I didnt see it coming.
