Yeah, I agree. I love driving my Evo but the only turn off is the gas mileage.

Ya kinda sucks that it gets the same mileage as my 5.3L V-8 silverado. Only difference is my truck doesn't make my panties wet and make me giggle like a girlscout when I hit boost.

Try doing A LOT of miles on E85,LOL.

I don't know guys, I'm in my car A LOT. I think if I had a NORMAL DD Maybe it would be more fun. But ahh, I don't even like to drive the Ferrari's at work,

Mine was a DD for the first two years of it's time with me. Did everything I needed it to from hauling the kids around, moving as much as a small pickup (gutted trunk, all kinds of SBC and BBC parts will fit in there ) and made plenty of runs down the strip.

I didn't think mileage was too bad considering what the car is. My average was 20-21 in town and 26-27 highway, even touched 30 on a couple long trips, all freeway of course. (300whp on a Mustang/91octane at the time)

Haven't driven the car in quite a while now, creeping up on two years now that I think about it, due to the build I've undertaken. It won't be a DD when it's done due to Cali smog laws (more the enforcement side of it) but it'll still take the kids to school from time to time.

i use my Evo IX as a DD, it has a few mods on it simple bolt ons and i still consider it a DECENT daily driver, as far as interior and looks i preferr my old 2010 camaro SS over it by far for interior, as far as drivablity it drives better for sure and is faster, much better DD then my Mazda speed 6 with the light weight flywheel, and ACT stage 2 6 puck clutch YIKES!!! i had back problems from that dam speed6 freaking popeye leg. Out of all my cars ive ever had i have to say this is My favorite next to my camaro 2ss RS, the better part of this then the camaro is not everyone and there mom has a Evo IX or even knows what it is for that matter. And of course the MPG!!!
I will continue to mod and use my Evo as my DD and to drop the kids off at school lol.

ive been daily driving mine for the past 6months, i usually don't daily drive it, but it is showing its reliable even with the high power level and build setup my car is at.

i keep e85 in it, it gets around 260-270 miles to a tank usually. (closer to 300 if i run it down far enough the low fuel light turns on) i have 93 maps also obviously since im a tuner, but i havent needed to use them yet.

i run it at 35psi daily.

I do

I drive my 03 Evo VIII nearly everyday as a daily driver! Its what gets me up in the morning

Only had it for a while though. Wasn't used as a daily driver before, just weekends.
