I have daily driven my Evo IX since I bought it new in November 2005. It's currently got about 67000 miles on the clock. No issues at all (other than the ones I created).

DD for 6 years minus the part where it sat for a few months.. I went crazy on the stock block with E85 and an HTA Green.. snapped a rod in half.
I'm thinking this is the last winter I'll be driving it.. looking for something not so modified for my DD.. if I was gonna do it over I'd do small cams, small injectors and stock ECU for a DD, plus either a push-style clutch or a single plate... but I'm not ready to call it quits with the speed-bug so I'm not planning on de-modding my evo![Smilie](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
If I didn't need a truck or something bigger to haul stuff I'd really be thinking about buying another Evo to daily.. when you don't mod the #$^ out of them, they are such a good daily driver and can't be beat in the winter on snows.

The thing is that if the car isn't used, stuff goes bad. I'm not talking about wear, just little things like corrosion and people forget that rubber breaks down.
Some of you might remember when I built the block at 209K.
Still going strong, thanks to this forum..
