That's the fun part! It's also a good reason to do it at night so you don't confuse/anger your neighbors. If your car has a lot of carbon build up, it WILL smoke A LOT.

How to use seafoam... My .02 and not really 100% factual. Before this car I had a 2007 MINI cooper S which is direct injection so the valves never have fuel on them and gunk up. So I sea foamed my car every other oil change. You're technically supposed to do 1/3 bottle into tank 1/3 into oil and 1/3 in PCV valve. I only did the PCV valve. Use 1/3 of it there and do it so slowly that it takes you 5 minutes. And after you have poured that drive the **** out of your car down the road... (seriously, you need to flush the system). And don't pour into your vacuum lines unless it's RUNNING (hope that was obvious) lol. I agree with the in oil right before change. Like one day or two before. And running in fuel probably isn't a problem. If running it hard or racing I would probably suggest not since it might affect the tune a weeeee bit lol. Cheers

Edit: some people suggest changing plugs after using seafoam. 20k miles later (3 seafoam treatments) racking up to 70k on the Cooper S, I had never a problem. Still were original plugs and they are supposed to be changed at 60k anyway.

I seafoam my civic every 10,000 miles. I put it in the gas, oil and brake booster line and it would clean out everything. It was pretty good at what it does and it made my civic sound live a subaru for a lil haha. Excelent product you can get at any auto store like advance auto or Napa.

I never did my Evo yet since i havent put alot of miles on it since i got her. the next oil change and spark change im going to Seafoam her sexy ***!

I just did my 60k maintenance on my 9 about two weeks ago. Can I still try this Sea foam thing? If yes which is the proper/correct way to do it? Pour it in the fuel tank, in the oil or in the vacuum line?

Used some in the gas tank, vac line and oil
