Sorry to hear about that... glad you're okay though. Hopefully you have full coverage, and if so, hopefully you have a low comprehensive deductible. These kind of claims are generally pretty easy to get handled.

I screeched to a halt and barely avoided a deer, then right when I started going again another jumped right in front of me. I tapped it at 5mph or less, knocked it down, it flailed on the street a bit then got up and ran off. That bump was enough to crack my headlight though
The good news was I got the price of an entire new headlight assembly ($1300) from insurance for it, and the crack is less noticeable than one shiny clean new headlight and one 8 year old slightly yellowed headlight so I just left it.
