It seems to spool up right around 3,500ish and full bost around 4k. Tonight ill try to take a Go-Pro video and post it up
My 3b doesn't even spool that fast what are you running for boost at 4000 rpm?

Im hoping to get a video tonight but it seems like its right around 4300ishRPM at full boost which is 29psi and then tappers off to 25 or something. I honestly dont pay very close attention so im just giving close numbers to what I can see from just messing around with my car. Ill let the video do all the talking tonight when I post it.

How's the BBK 3B treating you? I watched the clip of the one member autocrossing his but it's on a built 2.3 motor so not quite the same. Curious how's the response on/off throttle and partial throttle?
I run a single walbro 255 with injector dynamics 1000 cc's. The BBK 3b is nice and responsive , not quite as responsive as my old school fp green but the mid range and top end are awesome. You can look up my thread on the tuning forum there are some graphs posted.

Agreed that the BB BBK-B is very responsive but up here at altitude (5,000+ feet) and with my 2.3, I don't get full spool until close to or slightly over 4,000 rpm (depending on gear, load, etc). I run between 24 and 28 psi on track, depending on hot it is that day, and how badly I want to shave a tenth or two off my lap times.

I know this doesn't really help anyone tell how well or quickly the BBK-B spools, but this is a track video from this weekend when you can hear the turbo very clearly in the audio:

thanks for feedback guys-

the initial spool is going to be affected by cams/mivec/manifolds etc---

the B tends to spool almost on top of the smaller bbk full JB- transient feels better-

I upgraded my BBK Full journal bearing to the BBK B BB no porting and no antisurge cover. I will post my numbers when it gets tuned after motor gets put back together. 2 weeks time.

Motor will be a built 2.0L with all supporting mods. It made 452whp in 4th gear on a Mustang Dyno from FFTEC Motorsports. 230whp is bone stock evo on that dyno. In 3rd gear it made 428whp. Boost was 28.5psi. Fuel was E85. I am excited.

If I remember correctly, BBK B BB will spool like JB BBK Full, but make at least 30whp more up top 6000rpms+ with same boost. So at 30psi, i think cracking 500whp on E85 is possible. Probably do a 450whp map and 500whp map. On 91oct, I am guesing 400whp at least. On the BBK Full JB I made 385whp in 4th at 25psi. In 3rd gear probably around 370-375whp.

I have a feeling i would need to modifiy the 255 walbro fuel pump like in this link.

I don't know exactly the lb/min of the BBK-C, but my guess is that it would be too large for track and way too large for autox. The BBK-3B is about the largest turbo I would run on a track car personally. Easily capable of 500+ whp on a 2.0L, and more power than that on a track car is just stupid.

It's 60 lbs/min.

I'm on the fence between the two. I have s2 cams, stock block. I want a monster street car but occasional road course... I think I'm going with the c.

Somebody stop me from pressing the order button
