Quick question on AEM wideband

get the digital it looks better plus you get an accurate reading down to the tenth of a point on the afr, where the analog its kinda guess work. Im happy with mine, 35k on it no real issues with it. Go digital save the analog for your boost gauge.

Just wondering, the tailpipe position does affect the afr on idle but not sure when there's a constant flow of exhaust gas at high rpm. I would have thought there's at least a delay in readings but the actual afrs remain the same regardless of the positions of the sensor? Hope it makes sense lol.

I have the aem analog and it read from 8.5-18. Its nice & I love the way the dial sweeps but get a different one so yo can run with evoscan if you do that or have any interest in doing that

to be honest the tailpipe sniffers only work to monitor afrs as long as you dont have an exhaust leak at any flanges, or manifold to turbo/head. Any small leak can still throw your afr off a few points. My aem wideband is mounted on downpipe before cat flange. I like it, only thing I wish is I wouldnt have went cheap n bought an autometer boost gauge is like 1 or 2 psi off on reading, but an analog and digital gauge, looks ok but ive got mine on the steering column pod. Too many distractions, but I didnt want the jet fighter cockpit look on the A pillar haha

a properly mounted wideband and tailpipe sniffers are only accurate if you have NO exhaust leaks. why do you think tuners want to check for exhaust leaks before starting the tuning process.
