Idle Dip [vid]

Here is my problem. Does anybody have any answers to what this could be? I let it idle for a couple seconds then I rev it a couple times to see the rpms and the air/fuel.. The very last time I rev it just dies..

What flywheel do you have? It also sounds like you have large cams. Who tuned your car? Is the throttle body stock? How many miles on the IAC?

This is where i'd start my diagnosis.

EDIT: Also sounds like you have a weak battery.

Yeah it has GSC S2's, yes stock tb.. I've never liked the battery; but it's an odyssey battery. Not sure if the IAC was changed before I bought the car but I've put almost 20k on it, so if it wasnt changed I'd say roughly 90k miles. Spec Ops tuned the car.. It pulls great through the rpm range, but when I make a pull and then put it in neutral or engage the clutch it does this.. It sucks when Im in bumper to bumper traffic or in a drive thru I have to feather the gas.

Obvious question but did you check for boost leak? My car was doing the same thing, I had a bad leak on the back of my tb

Maf possibly. Try cleaning it. If you are speed density then tune

Mine was doing this a few weeks ago. I was told it was the alternator. But it wasnt. It was the black peice on top of the battery coming lose and making a bad connection.

I had a similar problem. I had a small leak on my intake... Also found out my BOV was leaking a little bit. After I found those two issues idle problems are gone. I would start looking for a boost leak first then clean the maf i doubt its your IAC. But its easy enough to test

Yes this happens when I drive then engage the clutch or put it in neutral but it idles rough when its just sitting there.. not sure why it didn't in this video other than when I gave it gas.

Cars not recirculating but its tuned fine. I did clean my throttle body and it seemed to help a little bit but it quickly went away.

This happened before I got the tial but I think I might have a wrong size spring in it because it seems to be opened a lot.. because when the idle is constantly going up and down the tial will open then shut and continues this process. so I'm thinking its the throttle body because doesn't the bov open when the Tb is closed?

Not sure if I have a lightened flywheels (bought it used) but I do know it has an act street clutch and pressure plate?

I doubt its the battery because it stays around 14.1 volts

Looks like a fuel problem to me, maybe the injectors, or BISS (base idle setting screw) needs adjusting.

Lightened flywheel, big cams, and a venting bov = good luck getting it to idle without SD or a standalone.

Check for leaks, your vac (in/hg) is way too low.
