I am Keeping My Evo Stock ! Despite all the temptations! :)

Well, OP, you do have a modded evo. You just decided to mod the interior and install stereo equipment. Most evo owners mod the engine or suspension.
As it applies to most things, moderation is key. Going overboard with the interior and stereo mods can get tacky quickly. Same goes with the engine and suspension. Well thought out, goal-driven modding can make the evo an even better car.
I have a full TBE and a BBK with an awesome tune, and I can honestly say that I love driving it more than when I drove off the lot in 2006.

Well I took my Evo to Roseville Mitsubishi yesterday and enjoyed the benefits of 60k 5 year bumper to bumper warranty I am going to say this, once it hits 100k and all warranties are out, I would definitely go with new Air box, manifolds, Tuned ECU & DBA Australia 2 piece Rotors,

Well good for you! I do enjoy an OEM Evo. Greatly. Especially in straight up appearance.
But I get the feeling you didn't really buy the Evo to be blown away by performance and have fun with it based on the "mods" that you currently have. To each their own though.
Don't shop at Lancershop though. They are a rip-off.

My MR is completeley stock under the hood. So far I have 56k miles. All I've done was revalve my Bilsteins to match the Swift spec R springs and a Hotchkis rear swaybar. Oh, and a white line roll center kit. Corners better than stock.

Mine is stock mostly due to $. But i also wanted the car in stock for for the first yr or so i owned it so I could get a feel for the car and its abilities. Now I feel I have a good grip on the the cars characteristics and feel the cars abilities are the limiting factor in me going faster so its time to start modding. To each his own tho. I do love a stock EVO.

good times, good times.

This is nutz so if you live in New York City you gotta go to a Boogie Down Bronx to get your Evo serviced, and if you live in Westchester that taking a whole day off to just get your car serviced by a dealer and god knows who works at that dealership in the Bronx.

I have an 06 MR 46000 miles and everything is still stock, with the exception of the after market radio. I've had my car for about 3 years now, and it still brings a big smile to my face when I take the turns and off ramps at a decent speed.
Ive been wanting to drop the car a little, but my driveway is on the steeper side. And now with a little one on the way, my priorities have changed. Im also considering either selling or trading this car in. We will see what the future brings. As for now, I'm loving my stock evo

lately i've been wanting a stock evo 9 mr se to just keep stock and enjoy it for what an amazing car it is.
My evo now is too modded lol, and while it has its own fun, its not as fun as a stock or stock-ish evo is to drive around lol

Bought my Evo IX brand new in Jan 2006, had my Evo for 6 years now, around 65,000 miles, stock clutch.
Only mods on the car are after market pioneer system, vortex generator, stubby antenna, UK spec badge, Blox gear knob, Rally armour mud flaps, 17X9 Rota grid wheels and Hawk HPS brake pads.
Still have the original decals the car came with on the driver door ...
Used to change cars every year, had the Evo 6 years and still lovin every minute of it...
