The RS is quicker because the helical front differential allows more grip off the line. Once they are off the line that advantage disappears between the RS and standard Evo (since they make the same power), until you enter a turn.

These days - forget it. The current systems are far superior to what any driver can do, even professional. The amount of times ABS pulsates now and the wheel independence they have is just amazing. You can simply stomp on the brakes and let the ABS take it down a notch if needed. And you can also be avoiding things or turning at the same time.

However, as stated already, the ABS has not yet evolved enough to be better in dirt, snow and gravel. Maybe one day it will sense what kind of surface the car is running on and adjust ABS logic - but this is not yet the case.

In any case, thumbs up for ABS progress!
