Jdm rear bumper

Hey I'm looking for a prepainted rear bumper. The only company I can find is driveline that sells prepainted one. BUT, driveline is really steering me away from all the bad stories I'm hearing from them lately

Does anyone know of any other companies? And yes it has to be prepainted

I'm pretty sure you have to get a white one now. I think they stopped selling prepainted ones, look on mitsubishiparts.net

Driveline doesn't make these bumpers, they just vend them. It's rare to find vendors that still sell JDM rears.. So being picky about it is not they way to go.

I've bought 2 JDM rears from Driveline. 1 shipped a few years ago and 1 recently picked up. No issues here..

Well that's the other thing I don't understand. Why are they the only ones that can still get em prepainted. While everyone else only gets em in white?

Well there is a point the manufacturer reaches where they are producing too many... I think they have reached that point. The demand is just not there for more.. if they only produced say... 10,000 evo 9's that came with MR's, there is no reason for them to make over double that of JDM rear's. Anything more is over kill and just takes up space on a shelf...

what's wrong with driveline? I've purchased from them before, nothing but a smooth transaction.
What color rear are you looking for?

You're in New Jersey, so try Adam at Z1 Performance in NY. Tell him Howard from TriStateEvo sent you! He'll take care of you! He ships quickly too! I can get them, the ORIGINAL/OEM ones, but only in WW as that is how MITSUBISHI-Japan ships them.

I really appreciate the help guys. But I guess I didn't really get my question across.

Why is driveline the ONLY company that can get prepainted ones from Japan while everyone else says they can only get white. I understand about the shelf space and all. But am I the only one that doesn't understand how driveline is claiming there prepainted from Mitsubishi?

I guess I have tried everyone else. There all white.

I personally don't have a problem with driveline. I have never dealt with them. It just seems like everyday there getting a bad review and they never come on here and defend them selfs. I work too hard to play games with a company that's just gonna hang onto my money for months at a time and either dodge me or gimme bs excuses as to why I haven't gotten my ****. Like I said I'm not givin them a bad rep. I just am afraid of dealing with them

It may be because Driveline requests theirs to come prepainted? Why don't you ask them?

I do know this.. Mitsu prepaints most parts in Weightless White for older non X Evo's.. It's probably because it's easier for them to sell to anyone since the demand is not so high.

Don't know if you sorted it out an found one but driveline has a shipment on the way.remember it's by boat and not air.lol this is why it takes so long they have to get a container to ship all the bumpers in and cargoboats usually come and go every 2-6 months depending on trade demand as Jdm bumpers arnt a priority for a ship caring tons of other stuff lol
just need to be patient they do have some colors in stock now ...not sure what color you need
