Apparently on the ride home from NC, the M6 lock nut on the BOV slipped off. I was looking up how to adjust the BOV and noticed when trying to adjust it the M6 lock nut was missing, the washer was still there but no nut. I assume it slipped off on the way because the noise was apparent when I was in Texas. Going to Home depot after work to get a replacement nut. We'll see if that solves it.

Went to get the car tuned a couple days ago at Evodynamics. I had talked with him about the sounds and he immediately associated it with the Greddy BOV (VTA). New Forge DV (recird'd)- sound gone.

I still get a similiar noise sometimes at partial throttle on the high way, and Kevin told me to expect this. Its not nearly as loud/annoying and again only at certain throttle position, gone with very small actuation of the pedal.

I really liked the sound of the Greddy but the Forge sounds awesome!

The one thing I find confusing is why the Greddy BOV never made these noises, and then out of no where birds chirping approaching every red light. Kevin checked the Greddy BOV and said that it was fine, as he said many times the diaphragms go out on these. Could it maybe be that without the locking screw on the BOV, on the trip back from NC the BOV slightly adjusted itself?
