so i need help , when i go out to start my car it will start up and die and it usually takes till the fifth try and on the fifth try it will start idle up to 2000 rpm and down to 300 rpm and go back and forth till it warms up and the car wont drive away till its warm any ideas?

i definitely dont have a boost leak... but i do have a similar issue... interested in any other ideas... my car responses the same but starts immediately and drive but like complete ****...

OP are you running a MAF or speed density?

 

Are you on E85? Maybe it could be your tune? Has it always done this since you had it?

 

Mods? specifically inj.? E-85? Have u logged the car at all? Have u had it tuned?

car has 255 fuel pump, fic 1050, on 91, header back, gsc 272 cams, set up on speed density and tuned by the local cobb pro tuner, its only when its way cold and runs like **** till its warm, i tired my buddies iacv not much difference, i dont think its a boost leak the car holds boost and pulls strong, it just hates life when cold

Possibly the tune. I just changed my setup over the last few weeks. When i first started my carm it did exactly what you did. Got a hold of Tom of Tcompusa and it was fixed in the 1st rom he sent me. Of course he is tuning the car now as well.

 

this is the second tune on the car and it still does it plus my tuner tuned my buddies evo set up like mine and his car is fine
