Changing the stock Recaro seat on Evo IX
I am in the process of searching for a better bucket seat for my IX, and I found this:

I would like to know if this seat will fit into the stock seat "space" and if any modification is needed to facilitate the change?

But my one is IX, does it still need Evo 8 rails? And if so, why is that?

geez, those seats are NICE. they said only 500 made? they are narrow, no XL from what i found. 50mm narrower than the SP-A seat.
recaro rs-g are 1900 each for reference, cant find the super stark. you will need sliders and brackets for the evo 8/9. i use buddy clubs for my recaro sp-g. these look about the same size as the sp-g meaning its max waist is 34" im at 32" and i fit nicely.

If you're going to get seats, then you may as well make sure they comply with any of the sanctioning bodies that the car might race in.
Typically, this involves fixing the seat in place (no sliders) if you want to use a harness. There are also weight limitations for many classes.
