Evo Windshield "lightweight"?

I read somewhere that mitsu manufactured the evo with a lightweight windshield just wanted confirmation that my replacement windshield is heavier than the factory one I had to have replaced.

You read correctly. It's lighter! Don't ask me by how much but I read on here numerous times that it's lighter.

Does that mean you need to go to mitsubishi to replace a cracked windshield?

No. You can get a regular windshield from reputable local or nationwide shop.
I regular windshield you can't tell the difference. Depends how **** you are only.

Well, call me Mr. ****. When my windshield took a rock I got a new one from Mitsubishi.
