Which Fluid do i Buy?

My Transmission fluid is really low. Im not sure about what it is, its under my hood and It says use ATF SP III only... what do you guys use??? Exactly what brand? And I have ATF at my house ( castrol ) but it doesnt say anything about SP III, So i dont want to use it, and on top of that , the back doesnt say mitsubishi anywhere. I want to go to autozone and get new stuff, but I want to get your opinions on what you think I should get!

EDITT: LOOK AT THE LAST REPLY, I THINK THAT IS WHAT I NEED, If YOU CAN CONFIRM IT, THATD BE GREAT

THANKKS ! YOURE ALL THE BEST

That's the ACD fluid, not transmision oil. It's normal for it's level to go down when the car runs. it will go back up when the car cools down as the accumulator in the ACD pump releases back the fluid.

fluid to purchase

bro, stick to stock fluid. i know buschur racing has it. Trust me if you buy cheap stuff you will pay for it in the long run.. Your evo deserves the best. If you want really good advice talk to trevor at sheptrans.com they deal with transmissions specifically and will answer most questions..

This.

But it is important to be sure that it is filled appropriately.

You can also check this thread stickied at the top of the forum as it will specify what fluids you should be using.

Excellent point, and I apologize. Your comment still doesn't offer any assistance though.

Everyone is new at sometime. Kind assistance goes a long way.
