Looks good! So how does the gauge stay in place?

Thanks

I just used liquid electrical tape too hold the gauge in place, and to insulate the back of the gauge.

I'm doing this tomorrow but with a Prosport peak warning temp gauge. The amber goes with the dash good and the back is thinner. I don't want to cut my wb and my water gauge is dangling out on my dash. Should look good. I'm going flat black too, my upper trim is denim and the radio surround/shifter is flat. Love my interior but hate my gauge setup. Convenient, yes but it looks bad so the wideband will be on the steering column with the smoked gauges in the pillar and peak in the cluster

Here is what my setup looks like. I just desoldered the LED Number Segments, and created an extension harness, and just super glued the led numbers into the dash. This only required that I opened up the white plastic part of the gauge port a small amount, I did not need to adjust the pcb board.

I have been running this setup for more than a year now.

What I want to know is where exactly to cut the board and how the bulbs pull out. I don't want to ruin anything

I had to cut the black part of the back of the wb gauge cup all the way off to the circuit board of the gauge for it to fit under the GC circuit board.

you can see in this pic how far i cut it

I wish i had the car wright now so i could take some more pics you guys but it in the shop getting the Trans rebilt and a new clutch put in.

if your worried about damaging something buy a spare and work on it.
I had to buy another gauge cluster anyways because i broke the little LCD for the miles on my when i was putting it back together.

I only had to cut the board a little bit to feed the wires for the wb gauge.
Just cut a little hole right behind the gauge the size of the wire harness.

I will go see the car on monday and take a pic so you can see.
