Tial bov question?

Hey guys I tried searching but can't seem to find the right answer that I am looking for.
I was Hoping a fellow member can help me out. I want to run a tial bov on my evo9 mr but I was told that I'll have some idle issues being that I am gonna be using my stock ecu. Is this true? Any info on this would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

you will need a recirculate bov. i believe the tial q is a recirc bov. if you do not have a recirc bov on you are most likley going to have stalling issues, and idle issues

I run a Tial 50mm...I just swapped out the 11psi spring for a 7psi spring because it was causing my car to surge like crazy...It eliminated all surge but now had some idling issue and threw a code...Never stalled but comes pretty damn close...So today i took it apart again and shimmed the spring a little and it idles like a dream but still has a check engine...I'm gonna shim it a little more tomorrow and it should be good...Bottom line is you can do it if you don't mind sacrificing a little driveability...It doesn't bother me

Because the spring is too light to keep the BOV closed under vacuum...I'll update you when i get home and shim it once more
