Noticed yesterday when I went to get on it in fourth i got up to about 10psi and then brap brap. In every gear at high rpms ill get it. i went home changed the plugs made sure they were gapped right even switched wires and coils. same problem. Can it be tune related? just looking for any other ideas

Is your Evo tuned? Have you performed a boost leak test?

I am having this issue at the moment and will figure it out this weekend. Had my BRP8ES plugs gapped at .018 when I was re-tuned the other day. It was smooth in the high RPM's under full load but the idle/low rmp driving was a little rough. Gapped them to .024 and the idle/low rmp driving improved to where it should be but am now getting blow out under full boost (not that bad though). I am hoping that gapping at .022 will solve this issue and be the best of both worlds. Hope this helps.

I switched from the protruding plug (BPR) to non-protrudung (BR) with the same gap of .022 and my blowout went away.

21 is what I'm running and it doesn't have any spark break issues (30 psi), but another idea is fuel cut. Do you have an AFR gauge? You might just check and make sure its not cutting up high.

I have used both also and found that the BR's hold up better against blow out better than the BPR's for some reason.

I have an afr gauge but haven't put it in. but its not fuel cut...my tuner and I messed with it and changed the plugs to the ones buschur sent, bpr9es and set them to .020 and the car is running great!
