From reading this, if a strong and consistent 400 awhp is desired, then stock turbo got to go?

So you have to go with e85 unless your running a different turbo how hard is it to tune for e85? I'm assuming different injectors and timing should be ok, but change the afrs a bit to hit your desired air to fuel ratio?

What is the max hp you can make off 93 pump with a 9 turbo? "include all upgrades mentioned in thread"

Asking for 400whp is a generalized goal unless you specify what thpe of dyno you want to achieve that goal with. 400whp on our mustang dyno is just over 450whp on a dynojet, BIG difference there. The 'average' peak power you generally see with 93 octane on the basic bolt-on setup with a 9 turbo is around 330sh on a mustang dyno and 370ish on a dynojet usually. With the proper supporting mods, 400whp on E-85 is attainable on BOTH dyno's.

We definitely know how to make the stock IX turbo perform Shoot us a PM if you want any more assistance on reaching your goal.

So 400whp is pretty realistic as far as engine holding the power safely? What kind of 1/4 mile trap speeds would you do with a full weight daily driven evo at 400 wheel?

wooowww I have the same turbo as you (10.5 hotside) and didn't come anywhere near 400 whp. My mods are in my sig. I'm putting on an intercooler and then I will be pretty much at your mod list. Don't get your hopes up.

I made 267 whp on a mustang dyno no boost leaks, new throttle body seals.

My point is that is you don't run e 85 you may NEED to swap your turbo to get the goals you desire. Then again, maybe not

Which type of dyno are you referencing for your 400 whp goal? That's a MAJOR thing here.

400whp on a dynojet will probably trap around 116-117mph where 400whp on a mustang dyno will trap 119-120mph.

267whp on a mustang dyno means something is horribly wrong with your setup. A stock cam, stock turbo evo 8 with a 9.8 hotside can easily exceed 280-285whp with an intake, TBE and fuel pump. Add a good set of cams and you are in the 300-315whp range. A 10.5 hotside will gain another 5whp with ease. With an evo 9 turbo, you'll be in the 330whp range on pump gas with mild mods.

400whp on a dynojet is attainable on pump gas with the proper list of parts with an evo 9 turbo. Don't forget to reduce as much rotating mass as humanly possible though. Lightweight rims/tires, brake rotors, aluminum driveshaft, ceramic wheel bearings, lightweight flywheel, lightest clutch that suits your needs, etc etc. These all free up whp without even changing the tune too.
