Ya, its story time
So get this yesterday I'm in class my roommate/best friend calls, me. "hey, I really need to borrow your car, I lost my wallet and its at the police station, I really need to go get it." Alright, fair enough sounds like your having a little crisis, just DON'T CRASH IT.
Then she's supposed to pick me up after a chem test I had last night, I call her like 10 times she doesn't pick up. WTF I am so pissed, walk two miles back from school at 1030 at night. She still doesn't answer her phone.
Get a text at two in the morning that something really bad happened. Of course I'm super concerned about her first and foremost but she's fine, THANK GOD right? Turns out she went to get her wallet and somebody from back in Vermont failed to send some information that she had completed a court mandated decision making class or some bull like that. So she gets arrested, not her fault and that sucks for her, a lot like ya, i feel really bad.
Anyway my car gets impounded I guess its policy, police never call me, yes I am the owner of the car, I have no chance to pick it up. Then I guess they towed it with TWO WHEELS ON THE GROUND.
I am so pissed. What damage am I looking at, I guess they were the front wheels on the ground (diffs t-case transmission)? What is the cost to get a car out of impound, I'm looking at that later today?
Thanks, hope you enjoyed hearing my misfortune.

to be on topic, how do you know it was towed on two wheels and if it was towed that way, I'd say it was towed from the front two wheels. Either way, towing on two wheels isn't good.
get your car back first then worry about what might be wrong with it.

impound is usually 100-150 per day (how it was with my car). so u should look into getting it out asap.
As for how it was towed, u might want to ask them and call the cops to talk to them about possible damages the towing company did on your car. I'm not saying they are liable but towing companies are usually really good about towing and paying for damages.
also, they most likely towed with front wheels up, if they did 2 wheels. if that is the case, tcase prolly F-ed.
there was another thread similar to this, but it didnt involve a girl but rather how the towing company towed his car around the block with the front wheels up. Dont know how that ended up because that thread went to crap with people bashing the OP about everything being his mom's and not his.
FJF= its an ok story, stretched rather long. car towed but dont know how, assumed it was 2 wheels but dont know.

I think that if we were in his shoes we'd all have our minds on how to resolve this issue rather than whatever the teacher is saying at that particular moment.
If his priority is not getting his car out of the impound lot, the expenses may offset his financial status so that he may not be able to attend school next semester.
