for some reason the light button on the left side doesn't work, the lights just stay on and the traction control options button doesn't work either.. all the lights just stay light on the dash...

by all the lights are on I meant the lights for the different road conditions selector. all the three green lights are light up and if i press the button to pick a different one, it doesn't do anything.
what i meant for the other lights is the button for "fog lights" doesn't do anything either. those head light bulbs just stay on also... its as if someone just wired it to stay on full time or something is broken.

If all 3 of your ACD lights are on, go to your local Mitsu dealer and ask them to pull the code for you. They can tell you EXACTLY what tripped them.
Otherwise we're all just yelling sh*t out for no reason.
It could be something simple, or it could be something complex. If it involves a fluid change... make SURE they're using the right fluids. I would check the fluid thread and be POSITIVE that they're putting the correct stuff in. Evo's are VERY finicky about what fluids go where, and many a dealership have messed it up.

Also... this isn't necessarily something that the other guy was hiding from you... it could just be the luck of the draw. So don't feel like you got ripped off.
Also, welcome.
Lastly... if it is fluid, be sure to follow the correct procedures for changing it as well. People have often added fluid here, or added fluid there not realizing that 50% of that fluid is still floating through the system after a drive.

Like Propilot04 way saying, it could be the wrong fluid or need to be bled. I'm not a fan or stealerships though unless you go to a reputable one. Our local Mitsu dealer pulled a code from my friends 9 MR and he thought they replaced the ACD pump unit when really they replaced his whole ECU. I've never heard of a Evo ECU that was faulty but it could happen. Anyways like you his 3 lights were on and he he finally broke down and ordered a used pump off ebay for $500. I would suggest other means, like checking connections and the electrical side of things before replacing the whole unit. I also found it strange how my pump has never been replaced considering I have over twice the mileage he does. Luck of the draw I guess. Good luck.
