help: install boost guage

Hello,
I have evo 9 MR, and havent installed guages yet.
I just dont wanna put new vaccum hose from engine to dash, if I can lol
Does anyone use the stock vaccum hose from MR guage for AEM boost guage?

I would think you can use that hose without any issues...

I agree. I don't see any reason why not. Although if it's old and showing signs of breakage, I would replace the line.

I unpluged the vaccum hose from the back of the factory boost gauge and ran it to my AEM Tru-Boost with no problem. I did it for the simple fact because I was too lazy to run another vaccum line. The only problem I can think of is where your going to place your new boost gauge.. Because I mounted mine right above the steerting wheel and the hose just made it.

I'm using it for my boost gauge. I have a mechanical gauge, but it works fine.

Im using the line. right up close to the manifold.. I tapped it twice for the oem and defi. I heard you want it close to the source of pressure for more accurate readings tho. Gl

Used the MR gage package boost line on my defi boost gage. You will have no problem.

I know you can relocate the MR gauges to where the radio is. All you need is the radio relocation kit. Which can be found here..

http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...cation_kit.htm

As far as relocation them to the A pillar I'm not too sure about that. In my opinion they would look a little goofy in the A pillar since the gauges are so small.

Good luck.
