Can I use a filter Sandwich port for a turbo oil feed source?

Hi all,

I just received my EF2 from MAP today and they sent me the upgraded oil feed line. I know you are supposed to pull one of the plugs out of the oil filter housing and tie in, but I currently have a Prosport filter sandwich on for an oil pressure gauge and an extra port available. My question is this: Would it be ok to use the port on the filter sandwich for the turbo oil supply? I'm not sure whether these ports are on the inlet or outlet side of the filter and if they are before the filter I don't want to feed my turbo with dirty oil! Can someone please enlighten me on whether or not this is safe to do?

well it seems like it flows dirty oil. since on filters, oil flows through the outside cylinder then filters through the filter and is sent back into the engine via the threaded fitting. with the sandwich the ports are getting oil from the outer flow which is the dirty oil, leaving the cleaned oil untouched and flowed back in the motor.

That's what I was afraid of. I think I should be fine using the stock oil supply source anyways as it is only the EF2.

It isn't that hard to pull that plug out. If you take a torch and literally put the flame on the plug for about 4 sec it comes right out. Just make sure you clean off any oil residue.
