Man, what the hell you drive an EVO for? I've done many hard launches with mine, the clutch is still OK and I've got nearly 20K miles...... The drag strip is not a demolition place where you go to break your car.... Dude, have you never raced your car? Are you for real?.... The EVO is a high performance car, a barely streetable rally race car. It's not supposed to be a fragile, delicate piece of poser art work... get real, it's a freaking hot rod!

By the previous post, I wasn't trying to start an age based **** contest flame war, so let's just assume age was never brought into this thread, and end it with this comment.
Just because you have an EVO at 18 doesn't mean your a bad person, and it's no reason for someone to hate you, unless you did personal harm to them. ENDED.
Now back on topic.................

Fact: Any 18 year old driving an EVO is ****ING spoiled...don't try to argue against it. Also, odds are better that an 18 year old will **** up a car sooner than guys in their 30's.
Fact: I'm jealous that I had to drive a Fairmont station wagon at 18 and got my first new car at the age of 33....I thought I should buy a house first...
You sound like a nice guy, and in all sincerity I wish you luck.

I hate it when i see a non workin spoiled *** kid with a brand new car. But that doesn't mean everyone that is young with a new car ( like the Evo ) is spoiled. I'm 19 and i've been workin my *** off since I was 16 to save up for a car. So don't assume everyone under the age of 21 is spoiled if you see them with a nice car.

Why does ever one blam the drag strip??? Thats where I see the best driving. what about someone who goes out at night and rasies hell with it , no darg strip needed to f**k up a car!!! AND why is no one talking about WHEEL HOP?

silverevo8owner, i was agreeing with you about age that it doesn't matter any 2 people can f it up the same, and to silverevo8, thats exactly what im saying...the evo is a freakin animal, there should be no need to treat it like a big wheels.
