wife + mods = bad gas mileage?
Forum! What's up?
Wifey is here and she explained just how worried she is about new mods destroying the gas mileage. I told her that it has to do with injector duty cycles and injector size, I got this information from that one post about tuning (you know that one post ).....
Now the Evo did get a few mods w/o a tune: uic, lic, and exhaust. I didn't know about the forum or this whole tuning culture. I mean I did know about tuning culture but I was just touching the surface after being redirected to this point from Fast and the Furious (c'mon I'm not the only one).
Can somebody back me up on this one or if I'm wrong bring the flame!

i know people w/ FP blacks getting 27+ MPG on average by having a good tune and simply staying out of boost. point blank BOOST=BAD MILEAGE because when Evos see boost they DUMP FUEL. but modding doesn't necessarily mean bad MPG its all about how far you stick your right foot in the tank. if your boost happy and or always spooling your turbo your going to get around 17mpg. hope this helps.

do what you want to your car its yours it amazes me how many dudes with performance cars let females make the decisions on their mods. dont mean to sound like a dick, just saying. if you can pay for gas an you want the mods get them.
