1. AWD/Handling--->I think these go hand in hand. I love rippin' corners in the rain!
2. 4G63--->I know it's been around a while but hey why mess around with what works. For a 4 cyl this thing runs!! I love to hear the turbo spool.
3. Factory installed UPGRADES/overall feel...Brembo, Recaro, Momo....I love the way the car feels when you are seated in the grippy Recaro, holding the Momo wheel and tearing down a straight. Then whenever you feel the need (or when the next corner appears) pound on the Brembo's and bring it all to a halt...QUICK
dislikes:
1.Clutch--->never feels right i.e. chatters, engagement point changes (although I am going to try the SS clutch line real soon)
2.Lack of Cruise control--->would be nice on the occasional extended drives to your favorite track etc. (not really that big of a deal)
3.Cannot think of anything else at this point (almost 7k miles).
If it ever starts feeling slow or unable to hang in the corners with the latest and greatest....the aftermarket is HUGE (thanks to the "old" engine and long history of EVO's in Japan) so I am not worried about falling behind. I just love to drive my EVO. It's my source of stress relief. Yeah it's got its little rattles, clunks, and occasional squeaks but who cares? If you cannot handle it...BUY A LEXUS and stop complaining Thanks for reading.

i love the seats and how they hold you in. the ride gets bumpy when you drive. this car responds so well to mods!
the 16G turbo can support 400whp. i like the nice torque down at 3500rpm. im used to a honda and used to have to shift at 4grand.
i hate the advans in the cold, the ride gets even rougher.
the stereo could use help.
i love the room in the back, my family and friends are always suprised because of it.
i hate mitshi didn't give it a standard option boost gauge.
theres soo much more about this car......IT'S AN EVOLUTION !!

I'm totaly in love with everything about how it performs and feels (except the clutch).
Dislikes, I’m not really fond of how it looks. I think it's ugly. Also I'm not hip on the weak sound system or the lack of cruse. But those can both be fixed easily enough.

ive got 8k on mine now and honestly I can say I have no major gripes (my clutch is fine and I could care less about cruise)....the only thing that does suck is the attention just like a couple people have said...in my area the car is super rare so everyone and their mother either breaks their neck looking or jimmy the tool ricer in his cavalier is trying to race you

Gripe 1: Static discharge from the excellent fitting cloth seats.
Gripe 2: Turn signal does not cancel when making an easy turn (due to the sharp steering)
Gripe: too little time on public roads to enjoy full pwer and handling of this awesome car.
Sorry, had to find something to gripe about.

1. Absolute lack of low end torque (my biggest complaint by far).
2. Terrible climate controls that work against you instead of for you.
3. Car is a bit too heavy.
4. Should have come with boost gauge.
