The Evolution did pretty well in the first race of the season. 3rd, 7th, and 8th in AS. Adding up the combined total from the two days, 3rd place was only out of first by .379 seconds. I am confused with the AS ladies combined times. Seems both the ladies Vette (1st) and EVO (2nd) were faster than the entire male AS field (???). In ESP we held 2nd, 3rd, and 5th but 1st place (Camaro Z-28) came in over 4 seconds faster for the 2-day combined (spanked).
The Evo's in AS were running Kuhmo's. I wonder if it was the new 710's and if so, what size? I was under the impression that our tire size was not available yet (235/245).
Are any of the competitor's members of evolutionm.net?

Hey Guys,
AS was in the rain, hell of a battle for Ted Dcar to take 3rd.
I got 2nd and Joe Harrison took 3rd in ESP. High traction conditions allowed the Chevy to walk away by 2 sec on Sat. I had him on Sunday but on the 3rd run he was 2/10s faster. Henry Botkin was great driver in a monster car, maybe top 3 time of the day on Sat for door slammers. Overall 2+ sec win.
In SM Tom Kenna came from behind Sat to take 1st on Sunday, little known but top level driver.
Rick

It sucks you didn't win, but then again, getting spanked by the camaros does not help the pony car arguments to move the EVO from ESP
so I guess this is a good thing that you lost ???
Congrates on the excellent performance anyway....
