Seat options in the Evo

Hello all I'm looking into buying a Aftermarket seat for my car

I'm 5'10 38 inch waists and I have broad shoulders and a larger upper torso

I'm looking into this seat and some others would this fit no problem in the Evo ?

http://www.ompracing.it/detail.html?productcode=HA/773

Thanks

Gary

I have to disagree. Every Bride seat that I have sat in was too narrow and I am smaller than you (the OP). If you insist on Bride, sit in the exact model before you lay out the serious coin they cost to be sure about the fitment.

Your not going to find anything better than our stock Recaros. I've sat in and tried just about every make and nothing else is even close to the quality and comfort of Recaro.

I honestly find the stock Recaros Cheaply made kinda like the MOMO wheel vs a real momo or Nardi

agreed, the stock USDM Recaros feel very flimsy; however still much better than the sad sofa they call seats found in STI's though

i've had all sorts of Recaros and Brides in the past and i find that the Recaro SP-G still represents the best compromise for a daily driver/weekend warrior. it is one of my favorite mods to say the least

since the OP is a little bigger, i would recommend looking at Recaro Pole Positions

i'm size 32-33 and i fit snug. my friend is 36 and he somehow fits? but then again his pain threshold is very high

i've had both Bride Zeta 2 and 3 and they fit a little tighter. i doubt anyone over 34 will fit comfortably in them.

i find that i don't get back pain with quality buckets on long drives because they provide great lower back support and prevent me from slouching.

if you want something that fits a little bigger, don't cost a grip and is FIA approved, definitely have a look at Sparcos too - majority of them are very comfy. the only thing is that i'm not fan of their styling (the same goes for Cobras and Corbeaus), but thats just personal preference.

i'd stay away from Status because they're made in Taiwan. and their FIA models costs as much as real racing seats (as in seats used by real race cars around the world). stick with Recaro (Germany), Sparco (Italy), OMP (Italy), Race-tech (Australia/NZ?), Bride (Japan) etc.
