Removing panel under steering wheel... ?
I was driving today and I tried to turn on my fogs and the bottom fell into the panel... I tried reaching it by taking out the surrounding where the switch was but I can't reach it... So I guess i have to take of the whole bottom panel to connect the fog switch again..
I unscrewed the two bolts that I saw ( on the bottom left and right) but I couldn't remove the panel... It looks like the thing where you open the hood is holding it.
Can you tell me what else I has to do to remove that panel?
I searched and couldn't find anything in it... Thank you

I haven't done it in a long time, but from memory you need to take the hood lach off I'm pretty sure from the panel... it should be pretty simple from there... these cars are put together like lego's, a full class of kindergardeners with 10mm wrenches and a phillips head could completely disasemble your car within a few hours.

There's two screws in the bottom corners, then the panel is held in by 'push tabs' at the top. Once the two screws have been removed, you should be able to pop the panel off.
The hood latch is held onto this panel with two screws as well, if you want to remove the panel from the car, you'll have to unscrew the hood latch.

Funny you posted this. I just removed mine to install my race pedal covers (needed room for the drill)
There are the 2 Phillips headed screws at lower panel, then you can pop out the upper panel from the clips
I removed the dimmer switch pop out panel which will expose a single hex headed bolt lower left under dash.
I did not have to remove the hood latch. Its connected to the dash panel
Anyway, Im sure you have already figured it out
