Unhappy wavy paint/weak body panels

so i keep noticing these dent looking waves in my car, i run my finger over them and they are smooth as glass, my car is almost 1 year old with 6700 miles on it and it is starting to look like the ocean on my car, full of waves, does anyone else have these problems mostly on the rear quarter panels, my driverside looks like a dent magnet, but there is no dent just wierd small waves, info would be great

thx
VIII/Devin

oh and my car is parked in the garage, it is not my daily driver so it does not get parked anywhere i cant see, so that rules out people opening their door on my car or even resting them on the car, i am way over protective of my evo, its like my child seriously.

You don't lean against the rear 1/4 when you fuel it up, do you?

The outer skin of this car is quite thin on purpose. It doesn't take much to dent it.

SC~ who has some dents.

Well SC, you know us NJ'ers, the gas station people can only fill it up and when they do I know they don't lean against it...damn but the dents look like they are there but some of them they are not there. I have this same problem as you VIII

I cringe every time my cat jumps on the hood.... He's only 15lbs, but you can see the hood flex under his weight

LOL yeah this is definitely not the best car for sex on the hood either. Your gf's *** would be more than just hot.

I always hated driving through NJ for that exact reason. I would plan my trips so I could be in and out again (whenever possible) without having to let the NJ fuel pumping goons touch my car!

Hey VIII, have any pics? Are they actually dents, or are you being a lil over sensitive about the orange peely paint?

SC~

they are definatly not dents, i just got back from my dads friends body shop and he said there is nothing they can do, but he did tell me to get the where the wave is and and smooth it out with a spoon on the inside though, like i said Secret Chimp i am ****, my car is my child. i treat this car better than anything and it just irritates me when i see waves that werent there 2 days ago.

is this it?

luckily my car was hit by legendary drunk driver Greg Rupeiks, so the body shop fixed it.

maybe you guys could hire Greg Rupeiks of Seattle Washington to get drunk then ram his Ford F-250 into your evo, then your insurance can fix it, because Greg doesn't have any.
