400-450 is a steal on a cell setup if you can pull it off. I went with one of the Aeromotive cells that have the internal pumps so I didn't have to mess with multiple externals. (eliminator series)

That cell alone was 900ish plus lines and a fuel gauge since the senders read differently.

Mounting then becomes the issue since you really don't want the cell sitting high up in the trunk and you'll need to do a fire break behind your rear seat.

Just my .02

I would love to have an Aeromotive Eliminator as it would be a more familiar setup to me. The fuel sender is still confusing me as I'd like to use the factory gauge but not sure if I could or how to set it up but I'll do what I need to.

I've mocked an autometer fuel gauge into the factory spot in the cluster, the sweep on the gauge is almost identical to the factory one, using the stock overlay and needle might be an option.

I'm still a ways out on testing it though, lots of other build stuff to address before the car is far enough back together to have power to all that stuff.

After pulling the tank and checking out all the rust involved, I saw no use in trying to clean it.

I started ordering some parts for the fuel cell setup and this will be a budget setup while still using quality parts and may do a thread on the progess with lots of pics. This will be pretty simple and will connect with the factory hardlines.

So far, I've ordered a Summit Racing 16gal. fuel cell that will need a fuel return fitting added, 12ft of -8AN nylon braided fuel line, and 2 -8AN bulkhead fittings. Still need filter, pump, and all AN fitting to connect everything.
