Also, keep in mind that relatively few Evos are stock, and lots get wrecked.
Compare prices of 1968-1970 SS Camaros versus those of 1968-1972 Corvettes. We're comparing apples and oranges, I know, but right now clean straight Camaros are harder to find and cost more, even though Chevy made a lot more Camaros.
IMHO, that is in part because a lot of Corvettes have survived to this day in pretty good shape. On the other hand, there was a long time when the Camaro was just some old car, abused by teenagers, used to haul groceries and rust out.
Moral: if Evos become a classic in fifteen years, its the clean straight examples that will command a premium.
