430wtq to be safe. Alot do 450-460 and survive but I think it's pushing it. It's all about a great tune to keep the car safe. Find a good tuner and feel confident In their opinion

Last dyno i had 361 whp and 398 tq, 1.6 BAR, ill try 2.0 bar next weekend and see what TQ i get... ill keep it below 420!

The weak link in a stock Evo engine will be the rods not the crank,weather forged or not i've seen cranks take over 900hp with no issues,that's why you see windowed blocks usually after 450 tq,it's the rods that fail.

i wouldnt go far over 400wtq, but of course that also depends on what dyno your running on. thats just me though, the further you go, the more of a chance of killing the motor.

I think when people say 450 they are referring to dynojet just FYI but I may be wrong. Yeah I'm right at 420 wtq on dynojet vd numbers and have been for about 6,000 as a DD. it's all in the tune like I said. Blevins tuning does my car and gets some enormous power out of it for the mods. He does email tuning which is on point so u may look into that if u don't have a solid tuner
