HKS Turbo timer issue
I know the odds of coming across a automotive electrician on evom is slim to none, but im just gona ask anyway because maybe someone ran in the same problem as me.. got the HKS type-1 turbo timer and installed it yesterday. I also got the harness for easy plug and play install the turbo timer works great..my issue is every time i turn on my parking lights one of the two fuses in the engine bay (specifically the pass. side parking lights fuse 7.5A) blows.. i know there's an easy fix i just don't know what it is..i figured it was the ground but i think i did it right..is there a specific place i should attach the ground? idk im stumped any help would be very appreciated. i wouldn't want to get pulled over for parking lights not working. Thanks..

for my hks turbo timer i just bolted it right to the gold bolt or whatever you want to call it that mounts to the airbag control module bracket under the center console. That's best ground i found around there with the least resistance. But after 2 years of it working without a problem the turbo timer started draining my battery and i couldn't figure it out for like 2 months lol. So i ripped it out....
I don't think that you would be blowing a fuse from that, i think you have a short somewhere from when you were messing around back there. check to make sure you didn't accidentally knock a wire loose or something.
