im at 3158 with me in it, but no spare, light weight crap all over the place, carbon fiber front end and trunk, no spoiler, small battery
Its a Evo IX, no speical crap at all in it. I have a scale at work i use full on gas too when i scaled it. That seemed heavy to me.

I disagree being I am on the same racing brake 5000 pads and the same set of tires from the origional time I swapped all that in and that was 2 and a half years ago.

For example trucks are heavy, so why would you only need to measure 3000lbs accurately? Truck regulations are in the 10,000's of lbs, so why would you need something within a 100lbs limit? That is the type of difference for scales, accurate scales cost a lot more money when that type of accuracy just isn't needed. Food for thought

Either way, I bet its still close within a 100lbs no doubt. (if not 50)
I can see your point but as I said if it was just one of those things how is it 2 totally different scales come up with the same weight. At the scrap yard they weigh you before and after to give an accurate weight of what was on the truck. Idk I would just like to find a scale where I know what it actually is.

The RS is only 60-80lbs lighter than a GSR. People must have forgotten this.

A couple year ago I weighed my RS and it tipped in at 3080 with half a tank of gas and spare and jack removed if I remember correctly. Of course that's without me in the car.

I have used truck scales and weigh scales under each tire before to measure the weight of my Evo. In my experience, they are both accurate. The truck scale I use has a precision of +/- 10lbs. I found this out by removing a piece from the Evo that I weighed on my own scale at 5lbs. Then I went to the truck scale and weighed it. It had lost 10lbs compared to previous reading.

The OP's weight is believable and its easy to drop the weight from that point. The window washer fluid canister is easy to remove if not done already.
