I'm just going for 350, until I can save up for a 35r turbo and hit my goal, I'm assuming with a bigger turbo I can still use pump gas

You can use pump on any turbo, you just won't be able to tune as aggressively.

I know that but the 9 turbo has its limits with pump trying to go close to 500 awhp on pump without race gas or e85 but if it's not possible then I'm ok with that as long as Incan get the most out of it. Now until my car is paid off that's a different story

500whp on the stock IX turbo no matter what fuel you use is not going to happen, my friend.

No one is getting what I'm saying maybe its punctuation, I want to get to 500hp on pump gas with my car in general, but as for now I want to max out the 9 turbo with pump gas as of now until i pay the car off and go e85. Mentioned above I will save for a 35r turbo because I heard you can get close to 500 on pump has since its a bigger turbo

Not sure what the point of the thread is then

To completely max the stock turbo - Intake manifold and ported throttle body, exhaust manifold, injectors, fuel pump, intake pipe and filter, lower intercooler pipe, 3.0-4.0 intercooler, ported hotside, o2 housing or o2 dump, cams, ported head, and turbo back exhaust.

If/Since 500whp on pump/93-octane is the goal, then I would spend my pennies elsewhere besides the 35r. For that stated goal, I would opt for a stock-frame selection of turbo that can flow 55-lbs/min+ (i.e. FP Red, BBK-B, EF3, FP Black, EF4). Again, I am also going to assume that you will do this with the usual complement of modifications.

wrong. 353hp on stock evo 8 turbo with evo 9 hotside on 93 pump gas with plenty of room left on stock injectors.

op im trying to shoot for 400 on my current setup which is as follows:

hks intake
hks 272's
stock ported exhaust manifold
evo 8 turbo with evo 9 hotside
hdi intercooler
ported turbine housing
ic piping
3" tbe
test pipe
vta o2 dump
forge wga 25# spring
hks evc
walbro 255
hks ssqv ( many of these bov's are plumb $hit but mine seems to hold boost fine and causes no surge issues)
hks cam gears
nitrous express ic sprayer bar
all tuned on ecuflash and on a spike of 29psi holding 27 to redline

car has already made 353hp and 357tq with all of the above except the ported manifold, ported turbine housing, and sprayer bar. this was done on 93 and stock injectors and bfp with a idc of only around 83%. 400 to 450 shouldnt be too hard on a evo 9 turbo.

You should tell that to Lucas English, he made 522whp with a stock IX turbo.

If I am not mistaken, that was by having a pretty substantial boost spike not to mention every bell and whistle for modifications.

That is not bad power on 93-octane with the stock VIII turbo with 10.5 hotside. When you say 400whp, I do hope you are saying with another fuel other than 93-octane, right? The additional porting you mention will help but if you are assuming they will net you +47whp (again assuming on 93-octane), you are mistaken.

Well I have a 9 turbo for 450-500hp Dino tech said to use the Ef4 turbo

For now I have a
9 turbo
Cams "unknown"
Injen inter cooler piping
eBay o2 housing
Stock downpipe
3" downpipe back eBay exhaust
255 Walbro "waiting"

If I get an Mbc and tune the car myself since I can max out the stock injectors at 350-380 followed by the stock inter cooler I should be good

Once the car is paid off I will be going all out trying to aim for a decent horsepower on a budget even though the saying goes if this is a budget build. My goal changed to 350 for a reasonable build
