Well Craig, from what I've heard, the buy back should only be around $1500-$2000 so I can definitely make money off of it, as well as have a parts car. Storage isn't an issue either, so there's no reason not to buy it back. Plus, in the grand scheme of an evo build $1500 isn't much. Chef, the 5spd is probably gonna get sent to tmz for a build, and Alpha, I despise the X's xD.
How many miles were on your evo? That is a steal on buying it back, I would buy it back and fix it assuming u could get a salvage title and just keep it as ur daily.

You should've posted pics with the hood open. Almost can't believe that's totaled. As long as the front frame rails are straight I could probably have that thing ready for paint in under 2 hours!
Insurance companies usually pay $50+/hr for frame work, so I'm betting that is the reason for being totaled. Sure sucks to see a perfectly good evo go to waste though.
As for this whole frame or no frame deal...look under your car and to each side of your engine bay. What do you see? Frame rails!

It has 139k miles; and to everyone who is wondering why it's totaled, the parts alone were $5700. 03 Stock HID headlights were $1100-1200 alone.

Glad they totaled it. Insurance companies can be funny.. if the bottom $$ is cheaper creating a Frankenstein machine, they'll do it. Sounds like you got a great spare car now, there are worse issues to have

OK, so I already see sold... The valve cover, the passenger side headlight, the wing....
I'll Take the passenger side fender, both fender liners, both mirrors, and the little triangle shaped trim on the driver's side fender near the mirror...
Looks like you're gonna make a killing on this :-)
Let me know how much you want for those, and when you can ship em out :-)
