SEL after boost leak test

After my first attempt of doing a boost leak test ... I didn't find any leaks. That's great but when I went to start my car up it started to ideal really rough, the "service engine soon" light was on and I notices some smoke. I followed the "how to" for the boost leak test and used soapy water to locate leaks. I was using 30psi. Can any one tell me what when wrong?

Did you vent the valve cover open? if not the crank case seal could be messed up....

Clear the code (disconnect battery) and see if it comes back, plugging the valve cover can cause it.

Did you make sure to plug your MAF back in?

I will check on that but I don't remember disconnecting anything. I pulled the codes and they were P0113, P0102, P0107, the scan was saying 6 codes but they were repeats.

Those codes have to do with the MAF. And to do a boost leak test, you have to take off the intake and MAF, so you most likely disconnected the MAF.
