speed density converted ppl please stand up

i wanted to start this thread for people who have switched to speed density so that we can get a clear review of the positives and negatives of what they experienced.

i plan to switch to speed density and havent found many threads about what people who have felt. mostly its just others saying what they heard from a friend who knew a guy that did it.

i plan on running the omni 4 bar and have my tuner use the fuel temp sensor instead of an ait sensor. so if you could post your speed density setups aswell that would be great. if you have any before and after comparisons that would be awesome.

please only speed density users/tuners posting

thanks in advance for any info.

Love everything about it. Look up my posts. DB just tuned my again on e85 and 6262 making 580 in 3rd gear on their mustang dyno. But I never have hard starting or stalling runs better than stock.

SD will run a ton smoother than stock without any real disadvantages to note, other than it's obviously more sensitive to mods than a MAF setup.

im at 547 hp on cbrds mustang dyno on pump plus meth. i got rid of the meth and hope to stay above 500 on the same dyno. im sick of the drivability issues with the maf. plus i have a gt35 with a 4" inlet and i know there has to be power there by getting rid of the maf.

SD using fuel temp.

I never had issues with MAF and even removed the screen as well without issues. I'm not sure if its smoother or not with SD but at least my idle doesnt dip when a harley rev's its bike near me.

One thing that I dont like is that with all Tephra V7 is that the ISCV values are not showing. So with MAF or SD when I start the car cold, it idles high close to 2k rpms and slowly comes down. I was able to adjust it with V7 MAF by using non V7 xml file in ecu flash to give me access to view/edit the ISCV values in the ROM and then switch back the xml in ecu flash after saving to flash with V7 options available. But with the SD I cant do that. Maybe there is a fix/code now that I dont know about that will help me view the ISCV?

Other than that, I recommend it.

I love my SD setup, runs way smoother then before. I have my BOV recirculated still just because it's so damn loud OA. I have the omni 4 bar.

i was thinking of keeping the recirc hose on the bov and pointing it down like a dump tube.
