From what I hear the front engine mount is the best option for a daily driver. considering that a daily driver falls in the category of comfortable smooth ride.

does anyone know how avid racing mounts are .. apparently they have 62a rating ones which would be most ideal for street use ?ive heard as just doing the front puts more wear on the other mounts ?

I have polyurethane mounts in my DD, had them for years, but boy do I regret them for 90% of the time in the car.

I just did the Blox front MM. Very minimal vibration. Hardly even noticed it. In fact I can't believe people complained about the 90A durometer vibration. Wow!!!

I'm now gonna get the sides.

i spoke to a mate who had run 62a mounts (3) in his honda and said it was horrible for DD, said it felt like bolts were gonna shake loose and his car fall apart. i also spoke to my mech who suggested motor mounts are no good for DD and suggested i get a engine damper but a good one (he suggested HPI)...

Im tossing up between the HPI torque damper and/or Torque Solutions front motor mount now..i am worried the mount will ruin my day lol, although some people say after a week or two it will settle in ?

Normally, I wouldn't care enough to post again on a forum after I've given my final verdict, but let me tell you, the Blox front MM is AWESOME! Shifting feel has GREATLY improved tremendously while moving. The vibration is almost non-existent. On a scale of 0-10 (10 shaking all hell), I'd say the vibration is like a 1 or a 2. I'd def recommend this mod without a doubt! Now I'm gonna do the tranny and camgear mounts and avoid the rear at all costs....

After doing a blox front MM (90a) if you choose to do the sides, do you have to install the same rating(90a) on the sides? If so is there a company that does that? Does blox do it?

I was having problems with chatter on clutch engagement from a stop, I replaced the front MM with a Minerva Motorwerks, and my problems dissapeared completely. Suprisingly, my OEM mount was not torn or loose - just plain 'ol worn out. There is no extra vibration with the mount, under any condition.

Best bang for the buck mount available!

Actually I have the torque solution rear mount only, and stock rest. It is 75A durometer and it almost feels stock. I also have an engine torque damper too. The only time I get vibrations is when I have the A/C on at idle and if I set the torque damper too stiff. Otherwise it is much smoother than I expected seeing that the bottom end is solid. It also allow much more clearance for removal of the transmission mount bracket and allows a torque wrench to be fitted on. Not a huge difference though, stock ones are not bad if you just have an engine torque damper.
