motor mounts DD
hey guys, just been through a few threads about motor mounts > torque damper to minimize movement in engine. help shifting, smoother and higher rpm shifting.
seems like a lot of people who have upgraded have done their front motor mount, usually with a blox or something. i was just wondering is it suitable for DD or should a bushing press one just be purchased ?? what are your thoughts ? i already have cams and the car vibrates a bit anyway
any feedback or experience would be much appreciated !
thanks in advance !

I personally just use a Blox front mount but I would imagine that replacing just the driver and passenger side mounts would be the best DD setup. The Blox mounts can be found used for around $45 and just swap them out rather than having the hassle of pressing bushings in/out plus saves a little weight.

if the front one isnt too bad i might just order a blox or agency racing, unless anyone else can recommend a better one ?? cusco or something? .. as i heard the front one is cheap and can be done very easily at home
thanks for the help guys appreciate it !

Based off my research, the front MM is all you need to do for a DD. you'll feel the vibration for the first 1000 miles or so until the bushings break in and then you wont even notice it. Just don't do the rear mount!!! If u do, it'll be all hell!!!!! Unless it gets your gf horny....then do whatever u want. Lol!

ive gone through a few threads and some say as you guys are saying that the front one is all thats needed and will be sufficient although some people have said get the front, tranny, cam gear one at a lower durameter
which out of these would you consider for a DD .. the torque solutions one is rated 75A and i think the Blox is 90 ??

This one of those questions where the answers will always be highly relative. That's like asking how loud is a _______ cat back. It's all in perception. I would do them in stages until you get the balance that you are comfortable with. Front first. Sides next then rear last. The rear is the one that will make your life most miserable.

Ive done the front mount with the rest all stock, and it was all good wasnt really any different besides helping with shifting.
My stock rear mount was shot, so I decided to upgrade it as well. Shouldnt have done it lol.
It would be fine if it was a track only car, but its too much right now. granted, I only have 100 miles on the front mount and about 10 on the rear mount, but its pretty bad at idle. The rest of the time its fine
