EVO Winter Performance

I havent seen a lot of EVOs out on the road since winter has struck. Do people just have second cars?

I'm planning to get one in winter 04 probably since I'll be done paying off my M3 I got a couple years back. I was curious, I thought that the EVO would handle superior in the winter.

I havent seen any with Winter tires either. Are there winter tires available for this car?

The car is awsome in the winter...with snows that is. I traded my 03 Tundra for an Evo and this car easily outperforms the truck in the snow. Just PLEASE dont use the stock ADVANS in snow unless you love to hit ****.

The EVO on the stock tires is incredibly bad in the snow, the cold weather loss of grip I did notice but its not too bad. The tires are basically near R compound so this is to be expected, but as far as there being winter/snow tires out any 225-245/45/17 will fit on the stock rims. Im using Pirelli Snowsport 210s and the cars amazing all around in the snow, wet, and cold.
