I'm also slidin' through a Rochester winter in an Evo, it does great as long as you have ground clearance.

Nope, black. I spend most of my time on the east side of the city (primarily Fairport, Pittsford, Victor) area.

Just got home from work, this thread exploded. I'm working at Chase-Pitkin in Henrietta, on Hylan. Me and my buddy are both bums who graduated HS and then didn't go to college. We are both 20 now and forcing ourselves to go to MCC this fall, maybe even summer courses. I wan't to transfer to RIT for Software Programming.

I'm not totally sold on an Evo, it will come down to my test drive. I'm debating an STi too. I like the exterior and seats of the Evo, but the interior of the STi is nicer, and the DCCD is pretty pimp too. It will all come down to driving experience. I plan on getting better w/ stick in my friends Civic hah.

Ah cool... no I went there from 99-2000 then got a job, haven't been back since 2001. =/ Gotta finish that up! Trying to get that piece of paper that says "yes I've been formally educated."

(it's the same one that says "I willfully allowed myself to be pillaged out of $25k/year for 4 years to obtain this piece of paper.")

the sti is slightly better then evo in the snow but they both suck with the stock summer tires. fortunately because its AWD and limited slip, you dont have to go with winter tires, all-season will be just fine if you are careful.

Got stuck in 2 feet... Well the front of the car acted like a plow and eventually after the snow was over the hood I plowed me self in. But little reverse action I eventually got out...

Here's what happens if you drive in deeper than you should snow, folks..

Doesn't look bad but it still hurt to see..

$100.00 to get a body shop to fill it ands airbrush, then back to knew..

Stay away from the deep stuff!!
