Oil pressure is more vital.

ok so oil pressure it is, i assume the AEM oil press gauge comes with a electronic sending unit, is there a oil passage plug that i remove and stick the sending unit in? if so anyone have any idea where that little booger is at?

FWIW you only need a warning light for when oil pressure suddenly drops, you don't need a fancy gauge for that.

I would suggest oil temp or EGT since both of those are much more gradual.

you remove the 3/8" plug from the oil filter housing and plug it in there. Youll probably need a torch to loosen up the loctite to get it out.

I've always been a fan of a coolant temp gauge as well. Much more accurate than stock gauges in the cluster. In my last car I ran wideband, boost, oil pressure & coolant temp.

I like having the EGT gauge. Boost, EGT and wideband is what I run. Oil pressure is good to have BUT... gauges that have memory recall and warning lights is the hot ticket because the thing is... when your at 7 grand breakin the law..and the adrenaline is pumpin'.. you ain't got time to LOOK at your gauges.. LOL when something goes wrong... I want lights to start flashing and warning buzzers to start sounding..lol

Is there a company out there that makes a dual function setup? For example, I know a company for Audi that makes a dual digital display on the same 52mm gauge. So you could have oil pressure and EFT on the same gauge
