' but it was raining and my rear tires were bald ' I'm sorry... but it almost sounds like you were not feeling too good about being behind the wheel of your car, a very fast car.

Well, to be completely honest I wasn't. The tires were getting pretty old and I did a rotation but knew I needed a complete change soon. They were not in any condition to perform in rain and i overlooked that, Maybe I just put too much confidence in my LSD and suspension but we all know tires are most important..lesson learned but you are right man. My mistake.

Doesn't matter. When they check it out and see the tires are shot it's game over for this guy.

Stupidity has a high price for some. A set of tires would have most likely saved his car.

800 dollars for a set of tires or a new car? Easy choice! Then again if you can't afford to keep up on the maintenance maybe you shouldn't own a car like this?

Life is harsh get a helmet!

In Manitoba Canada we have no choice but to use manitoba public insurance which i hate and they are not all pleasant to work with, cal city Evo I can more than afford this car it was paid in cash all way through and I never struggled to buy parts and maintain the car only quality parts were put into it. It was just a case of "the hell with it il do it tomorrow." we all make mistakes and was mine avoidable? Yes. But it happened and I've learned my lesson.

Yup sounds right. I am an insurance adjuster in Alberta and we do thing differently. However everywhere else in Canada is government owned Insurance so they rule the roost. The company I work for is very customer based, so whenever someone comes, we try our hardest to find coverage. If we cant, we cant. However we wouldnt deny based on no tires....crash beam mmmmmm maybe, only b/c your modifying ur safety equipment. We may also cover it and notify underwriting for next time we review your policy. It would definatley be a case by case basis.

I cannot believe you live in Canada and have owned 3 evos ... woooow!!

If your parting your car, lemme know, I wanna few things from interior and some other stuff lol. PM me or we can chat through txt msg (iMessage if you have it)

Cheers and dont worry, you'll be okay!!

I think he meant for non directory of traffic approved tires..and I don't think that's the reason for denying my claim they just mentioned it, the main reason was no front crash support..and il pm you, I'm keeping all mechanical parts such as tcase, tranny and engine to drop into my next Evo is the plan..the interior il probably part out.
