I'd rather get Kelfords if you have an viii. I am sure you can find someone selling a set on the forum.

300 is a good price for used S2. All you need to get is the GSC or similar spring kit, which are around $200. Do it!

I wouldn't even pay $200 for them. There are 80,000 miles on them so I believe that price is a rip-off as is and they are only $495 brand new off the shelf. They are a very used item and cams are one of those things that I would pay full price and get new since it is a vital engine component.

80k? Are those the actual millage on the cams or the car? Seems like it's mostly all freeway. I would inspect them first.

yeah i dont even know how he put that much on the cams , but you guys got me thinking. I might as well buy them brand new since it is something very important.

he said there is nothing wrong with them but im knew to cams so i wouldnt know what to check for.

thanks for all the answers guys seriously appreciate it.

I wouldnt necessarily pass them up but i would certainly inspect them to be sure they are in good condition. I wouldnt give over 250.00 for something with that much mileage on them even in good condition.

Lot of mileage, also, probably the old version of S2s. Price not too bad, i'd probably go lower! Check if new or older version.
