Just raced my car at the Ridge Motorsports Park! Vid inside
I posted this in my build thread but I'm super excited to show it off, so I posted it here!
This was my first real track day of my car and pretty much Ever! I started off in Group A (beginner) and was solo certified halfway through the day. I still choose to have my instructor ride with me through all the runs, to gain as much knowledge as I can. A couple more sessions later, he decided to bump me up into intermediate and solo certify me for Group B!
This is my first run of group A.

This vid is my first and only run of Group B. I have a front view, but I'm teaching myself video editing.. I'll be compiling videos to have both of them playing at the same time in one video.

Congrats on getting to spend some time at the Ridge. Wish your video was a front view. Even better would be a front view with some telemetry. You should check out Harry's lap timer (app). Did you go out with a club, or on your own? What tires were you running?

I actually have a lot of videos, I'm going to do some video editing, I just couldn't wait to get this uploaded 
I'll have to check out the lap timer.. I went with hooked on driving to earn my license.
I am running Hankook Ventus v12 Evo's.. 285/30/18's on a stock body. I decided to run a wider tire rather than blow a bunch of money on some slicks. I figure this will save me a lot of money and allow me to race in my budget.

. Luckily I was the only person from Group A to be solo certified and moved into Group B. There were a couple that got solo certified but weren't moved up.This wasn't an official race and they staggered us out of the gate..
I have a decently cool video of me chasing down a BMW 1-M Series. He didn't want me to pass him and I was held up by traffic a few times.. I can't wait to finish editing all the videos so I can get them up!
